Rudy's BBQ near Randolph Air Force Base serves up some seriously flavorful brisket that's always perfectly smokey. What sets this location apart is the cool vibe in their dining area, decked out with local air force memorabilia and historical photos of the base. It's a great spot to soak in some local history while enjoying a delicious meal. Plus, they show love to the military community by offering discounts to military and veterans. During the visit, it was noted that veterans of the Korean War, Vietnam War, and WWII got free BBQ – now that's some serious hometown hospitality. With great food, good vibes, Blue Bell ice cream, and Shell gasoline available at the pump, it's easy to make this Rudy's a personal favorite.

Simple, with a Texas "feel" to it. Can get get gas and lunch. Had the jalapeno sausage but was greeted with samples of their turkey, sausage and brisket. All three delicious. The mac n cheese is "smokey" and so good. I like mac n cheese but this. This is just good. Kent's power sports is next door where I was getting my motorcycle fixed. So, great choice for a relaxing lunch outside.

April 2025 First to say is the staff working here at Rudy's Country Store and BBQ are very friendly and helpful. The BBQ is delicious and has a nice menu selection. The Half Chicken had a smokey flavor taste, the Brisket was cooked perfectly and enjoyable, the Baby Back Ribs were delightful, and the Jalapeno Sausage was juicy and tasty. The sides like the Cream Corn and Potato Salad were excellent too. This place may be hard to get to with the highway construction going on but well worth navigating to.

It was eerily quiet for a 12 noon lunch but better for us. Ordering can take a while because only one person cuts and weighs for everything. Wasn’t a fan of the Mac because it wasn’t cheesy and super Al dente. The brisket is what I came for anyway. Plenty of disabled spots near the front. Friendly service. Save your and get a fountain drink inside instead of a glass bottle outside. Military and first responders eat free

We did takeout here last Sunday evening for an early dinner. We ordered a half pound of Turkey, one pound of Brisket, one pound of Baby Back Ribs, and one link of Sausage. Our sides were one pint of Creamy Corn and one pint of Potato Salad. We also received sliced pickles, sliced onions, a loaf of bread and a container of barbecue sauce. All of the meats and sides were excellent. We will definitely return here again and would highly recommend you give this place a try. This restaurant does give a Military discount.

I had catering this past weekend from Rudy's for my wedding and I was so impressed. The time for delivery was 1:30pm and they were there even earlier and set everything up for us. The food was delicious and I had so many leftovers! I just want to say how happy I was with the timely service and delicious food we received! My dad was in charge of it and spoke with Mikayla (sorry if I'm spelling it wrong). I called the day before to change the contact person for them to call when they were on the way and they were very understanding. Overall amazing and I was so happy with how great everything tasted. I got some many compliments on the cream corn! Great service, professional delivery, and very prompt service.

It disheartens me to see other reviews, which in my opinion, does not match the quality of food and the quality of service that I received today. Is the food a little more expensive than other places, not for the quality that you get. My girlfriends and I spend around 50 for lunch which include 3 types of meet, brisket is our favorite and the turkey was amazing soft and juicy and a jalapeno sausage link. We had three drinks and we both got a dessert. The true rating should be around 4.5 - 4.7. Keep up the great working and keeping the quality standard high.
